We are all living in the same neighborhood, whether we own or are renting. This community board is for the sharing of ideas about what is great in our neighborhood, and what could use some improvement.

Homeowners associations have a dramatic influence on the quality of life and the property values in our communities. This group provides a great place for all homeowners to get involved in their HOA, even if the homeowner's schedule doesn't match with the HOA meetings. Besides helping to protect property values, HOAs are a great tool for organizing community building activities, including but not limited to: sports teams, holiday gatherings, community yard sales and volunteer work days.

Block Watch is based on the principle that neighbors working together are the first and best line of defense against crime. The Block Watch program fights the isolation and separation that crime creates and feeds upon, forging bonds among area residents and businesses, helping to reduce burglaries and other crime, while improving relations between the police and the community they serve.
